Wilbur Goudreau, a Native American Indian, founded Kamar Office Products in 1981.

He opened his first store in downtown Pontiac, Michigan, and is still operating in Pontiac today.

He has been committed to providing premium service at deep discount prices, and is still supporting

the community, even when all other office product dealers have left Pontiac for more affluent suburbs.

Since opening for business, Kamar Office Products has moved into it’s current location, it's fourth.

The first 3 locations had a retail store, but the current location is for specializing in deep discount

commercial sales and distribution to businesses of all sizes. Kamar offers pricing to small and home

businesses usually only available to large corporations or governments, but has also been able to obtain

contracts from global corporations, major universities, states, counties and municipalities, while providing

them with cost savings and timely quality service levels seldom provided in our industry today.

Over the past 27 years, Kamar has worked closely with buying groups to provide us with national

warehousing and distribution services. Being part of this buying group, Kamar is able to offer our customers

the buying power and national next business day distribution of 40,000 items from more than 450 manufacturers.

These items are shipped from 35 Distribution Centers strategically located across the United States. The centers

distribute over 4 billion dollars of goods each year for end users of all sizes and types.

Kamar has also been a industry leader in providing the ability to do business via all avenues of technology,

old, new or futuristic. Kamar can offer the means to do business as it was done 100 years ago, or can

customize a program to meet the requirements of the high tech data savvy buyers of today and tomorrow.

By offering a full menu of services including: custom reporting, online ordering, desk top delivery,

green friendly alternates, multiple buyer purchasing with supervisor approval required, custom product lists

available by end user, department charge back, EDI, budget or purchasing restrictions.........and many

other options too numerous to list.

A real person will still answer your call, because we have refused to install voice mail or automated operators

that require you to push buttons for 10 minutes, before you get a message to leave a recording that is usually
